I am new, what should I expect?

Do I need to dress up?

Come as you are.
What about kids?

We have a City Kids ministry. We encourage family worship and communion. We provide a space during the service called Kids Minute whereby the kids come and hear the message in their language, learn bible verses and then go back to their parents. We provide parents with resources to better disciple their kids weekly.
What about a restless child or crying baby?

We provide space for your to bring your child to train them, pray with them, correct them, nurse them, or simply give them space to fidget while listening.
Will I be asked for money?

Only those who call city of joy their church family, or church home are invited to give out of the generosity of Jesus towards what He is doing in their local church family. YOU are our guest. No pressure for you to give the first time or EVER!
Is the preaching from the Bible or Topical?

Yes! All our teaching is from the Bible and covers topics accordingly. We preach Jesus from the pages of the Bible from cover to cover because He said in Luke 24 that all of Scripture testifies of Him.
What is my next step if I like it at City of Joy?

Join us at our next Lunch & Learn as you will hear from pastor and elders who we are, what we believe and next steps.
Feel free to join us at one of our church wide spaces (worship at AJS, men/women prayer breakfast, etc.) found at our "What's Happening" Tab above.
Join us after Lunch & Learn for a Dessert and Distinctive Commitments time where our pastor/elders will share HOW we relate to one another and WHY.
We desire all you do to be done in prayer and seeking Jesus.
We are grateful to the Lord you have considered joining us for our Gathering, while also considering what becoming part of our family looks like. We are honored to serve you as the Lord leads.

The most important thing we can do is ask, seek and knock on the doors of heaven for our hearts and the hearts of our representative leaders to be dependent on Jesus, filled with courage to fight for our God-given rights as American Citizens and the darkness of communistic overtones to dissipate in Jesus name.

PLAN

The second most important thing is to make your plan to VOTE. A vote for anything marxist or socialist is a vote against freedom and citizenry. Request your ballot. Cast Your Ballot. Verify Your Ballot Counted.

PROTECT THE VOTE

Christians getting involved as Poll Watchers, Judges, Precinct Captains, etc. is essential to have QUALITY Eyes on ballots and process. The American Christian Citizen engaged is key to protecting the vote.

PROMOTE THE VOTE

Get as many as possible to do ALL 4 of these things and we will move the needle for the glory of God in the advancement of FREEDOM (His Idea) and the dissipation of communistic socialism in our country.
